Customer Activation & Portfolio Manager (12 Months Assignment- Maternity Cover)

Job Description:

The role defines the activation strategy, enables, and supports the team to execute the activation plans within our customers to bring our brands and events to life for shoppers, in a way which contributes towards delivery of the retailer’s own strategies. In addition, the role is responsible for the line management of two associates in the team.

What do we need from you?

• Commercial (sales, marketing, category, customer marketing) experience, (5+ years)  and demonstrated ability to develop strong and impactful internal and external relationships and influence customers of all sizes. 

• Strong track record of executing visions and strategies with the ability to inspire and engage the local market(s) . 

• A bility to navigate complex situations and challenge the status quo with a can-do attitude. 

• Self-reliant, decisive, and resilient and able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, swiftly changing environment, which will also itself be new in the initial period.

• People leadership of a small team of functional experts .

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Lead and develop an engaged and effective Market Activation teams across the UK/IRL to deploy the brand activity plan across key retailers .

• Ownership for UK& IRL activation plan – alignment, delivery & execution of the plan – including priority choices .

• Ownership for the UK TMAB budget – from agreeing allocation, to management/stewardship of the budget .

• Ownership to define/design/deliver the content required for internal deployment meetings, and own the design & delivery of all external tool kits and selling materials .

• D esign tools to disrupt & educate shopper while building Brand DMS along the path to purchase .

• Strategic display/hotspot & all display & equipment leadership, including sourcing, ROI etc.
