Quality and Compliance Manager, Scunthorpe

Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday To Friday

Salary: £50,000 per annum + car allowance / car / There will be some salary flexibility for the right candidate.

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Quality & Compliance Manager to join our business on a permanent basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain effective quality and compliance strategies, systems and controls
• Ensure ongoing production consistently meets internal standards, customer expectations and regulatory requirements
• Lead and coordinate internal audits and prepare for external audits, including BRC, ISO 9001 and FDSC
• Manage audit findings, implementing corrective and preventative actions where required
• Monitor, review and update quality and compliance procedures in line with industry regulations and best practice
• Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Oversee quality and compliance documentation systems, ensuring procedures, standards and specifications are current and compliant
• Work cross-functionally with production, technical and product development teams to embed quality and compliance throughout the business
• Manage supplier quality, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring and compliance reviews
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance, systems and processes

Experience and Skills:

• Degree qualified in Quality Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality and compliance role within a manufacturing environment
• At least 2 years’ management or leadership experience
• Proven experience leading BRC, ISO 9001 and FDSC audits
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex documentation
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders
