Eurofins seeks a Sales Executive to develop profitable food testing business within an assigned territory, primarily targeting customers for food microbiology and chemistry services. The role combines proactive customer acquisition, territory management, and collaboration with laboratory teams to balance commercial growth with operational capacity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory plan targeting new food testing customers with clear prospects and revenue objectives
- Generate opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, industry events, and marketing leads
- Build customer relationships, identify decision-makers, qualify pipeline, and convert opportunities through proposal and onboarding
- Maintain portfolio of small to medium-sized customers through regular contact, planned visits, and account reviews
- Collaborate with laboratory teams on capacity, testing capabilities, sample logistics, and customer commitments
Requirements
- Customer-facing sales, business development, or territory management experience
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer engagement skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to balance customer needs with profitable growth
- Territory planning, opportunity prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration ability
- Competent with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital prospecting tools
- Regular travel capability within assigned territory and to laboratory sites
