A welcoming school in Milton Keynes is currently seeking a SEN Behaviour Mentor to join their team from September 2026. The school in Milton Keynes is looking for a strong, resilient, and driven SEN Behaviour Mentor who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support to pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties. You will play a key role in helping students access learning, regulate emotions, and develop confidence within the school environment.
As a SEN Behaviour Mentor, you will provide dedicated support to pupils with SEN and behavioural needs, helping them engage positively within the classroom and wider school environment. The role will involve promoting emotional regulation, encouraging positive behaviour strategies, and supporting both social and academic development.
Responsabilities of a SEN Behaviour Mentor in Milton Keynes:
* Providing 1:1 and small group classroom support
* Supporting behaviour management strategies
* Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
* Encouraging engagement in learning activities
* Supporting emotional regulation and resilience
* Assisting with social interaction and communication skills
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback to staff
The Ideal SEN Behaviour Mentor in Milton Keynes:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN and SEMH needs
* Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, SEN TA, Youth Worker, or Support Worker
* A calm, patient, and adaptable approach

* A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and development
