**Warehouse Operative Days**
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking **Warehouse Operatives** to join our **day shift team** in a busy distribution centre based in Newton Abbot. This is a **Temp** position ideal for individuals who are physically fit, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for general warehouse duties including loading and unloading cages, stock movement, and working within a chilled store. Full training will be provided. If youre looking for stable work as part of a supportive and friendly team, this could be the role for you. **Immediate Starts for Successful Candidates.** * **Shift Pattern:** * * Thursday to Monday 09:00 - 19:00 * **Pay Rate:** * **Day Shift (05:0023:00)** * **Monday to Friday:** £12.71 (Overtime: £15.02)* **Saturday:** £15.02* **Sunday & Bank Holidays:** £18.78 * **Key Responsibilities:** * * Carry out general warehouse duties in a chilled environment * Load and unload cages of various products from trucks * Push, pull, and manoeuvre cages (manual handling involved)* Use handheld scanners to maintain accurate warehouse productivity * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area * **Skills and Competencies:** * * Strong attention to detail * Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good time management and ability to meet deadlines * Flexibility to adapt to changing workflow or priorities * **Experience and Qualifications:** * * Previous warehouse or logistics experience (desirable but not essential)* Manual handling training (preferred training provided)* Experience using pump trucks (desirable) **Interested?** **If you are interested, please apply now for a call.** NAT1Vacancy posted 8 days ago
