Develop your payroll career within a well-established and growing professional services environment, where you'll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering an accurate and efficient payroll service as part of a supportive team.
In the Payroll Administrator role, you will:
- Process and manage weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple clients, including HMRC submissions
- Complete auto-enrolment assessments, calculate pension contributions and submit pension data
- Process starters and leavers, including calculating statutory payments
- Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns
- Liaise with HMRC, pension providers and clients regarding payroll queries and requirements
- Carry out a range of payroll administration duties while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
To be successful, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar payroll position
- A good understanding of payroll legislation and auto-enrolment requirements
- The ability to complete manual payroll calculations accurately
- Excellent numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to supporting clients
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365, with experience using payroll software such as Sage or IRIS Staffology being advantageous
- A CIPP qualification and/or knowledge of the NHS Pension Scheme would be desirable
This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, working full time (typically 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). A job share arrangement may also be considered. Offering a salary of £27,500 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience, you'll be based in North Wales.
