Export/Import Multimodal Operations Clerk

£30k - £40k per annum

Full-time

New operations role within an established freight forwarding company where you will be handling mainly air freight, sea freight and road freight shipments

Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700 hrs
20 days annul leave plus bank holiday
Salary 30K - 40K subject to experience - have to have all 3 transport modes

Responsibilities will include:
Handling Export & Import shipments
Arranging collections from air/shipping lines and delivery to client
Cargo tracking
CDS Customs Clearances
Arranging handovers
Quotations to overseas offices / customers
Some import knowledge would be an advantage but would train
Sequoia system experience
Previous Cargowise system knowledge also an advantage

Excellent communications skills and previous Export / Import experience are essential
