We are seeking caring and supportive host families to welcome our talented academy players into their homes. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a player’s journey, providing them with a safe, nurturing environment that promotes their growth and development. As a host family, you’ll play a vital role in helping young athletes focus on their training, education, and personal development while experiencing life in Sunderland.

What We Ask For: 

We are looking for warm, welcoming households that can offer a safe and comfortable living environment for our academy players. It’s important that our host families respect the privacy and needs of young athletes, providing a supportive atmosphere that encourages their personal and athletic growth. Flexibility and good communication are essential, as is a genuine willingness to help players integrate into family life and the local community. Above all, we seek families who are committed to creating a positive, encouraging environment that will help our players thrive both on and off the pitch.

An Enhanced DBS from Sunderland AFC is required for all those over the age of 16 in your household.
