Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

A well-respected primary school in Sefton is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their school on a long-term basis starting ASAP, running through to July 2026 initially and extending from September for the full academic year.
Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant | Person Specification
* Role: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
* Minimum 2:1 degree in Education, Psychology, or a core subject
* Previous classroom experience is an advantage but not essential
* A genuine passion for working with primary-aged pupils, including those with SEN
* Available to start as soon as possible Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant | Job Overview * Join an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' primary school with a strong ethos of inclusion and excellence
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils
* Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging, well-planned lessons
* Offer both academic and emotional support to children with additional needs

* Full-time role: Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week (term-time only)
* Competitive pay: £510-£550 per week
* Start date: ASAP for the rest of the academic year initially
* Role to continue from September for the next academic year Situated just outside Formby, the school has excellent transport links to Liverpool, Southport, Bootle, and surrounding areas, with on-site parking available for staff who drive.
