Admin Officer
Location: Market Place HU1 1RD
Working Hours: 9:00am- 5:00pm 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, office-based
Contract Duration: End of Jan 2027
Pay rate: £12.86 increasing to £13.25 after first 12 weeks
* Providing usher support to the judiciary, ensuring courtrooms run efficiently and effectively
* Assisting with administrative tasks such as listing, booking interpreters, and managing court schedules
* Answering general queries from court users and visitors
* Supporting the jury office, including handling junior staff and processing expenses
* Maintaining accurate records and supporting the overall operational needs of the court What you'll bring:
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Basic administrative experience, ideally within a busy environment
* Proficiency in MS Word, MS Teams, and MS Outlook
* Friendly and professional communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Additional information:
