Our client is seeking a commercially aware Supply Chain Manager to oversee and strengthen end-to-end supply chain activity across procurement, planning, inventory, and distribution. This opportunity will suit a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise who can improve service levels, manage supplier performance, and drive efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise the end-to-end supply chain function.
- Oversee demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and distribution processes.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and performance standards.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve service levels, and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, and sales teams.
- Manage supply risk, stock availability, and business continuity planning.
- Drive process improvements and systems enhancement projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Lead and develop the supply chain team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability.
- Experience using ERP or supply chain planning systems.
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
- Ability to work strategically and operationally.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in supply chain, logistics, or business is preferred.
