Are you an experienced Production Manager or Senior Production Supervisor looking for a role where you can genuinely influence operational performance, team development and delivery standards?

We're recruiting for a well-established and expanding manufacturing business that continues to invest in its people, processes and operations. This is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth of the business while building a long-term career with genuine progression prospects.

Working closely with senior management, you will have responsibility for production planning, labour management, quality, health & safety and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional who enjoys leading teams, driving performance and delivering results.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing daily production activities to ensure delivery against production schedules
• Planning labour and resources to meet operational requirements
• Monitoring output, productivity and performance targets
• Leading daily team briefings and maintaining clear communication across the operation
• Identifying and resolving production issues that could impact delivery deadlines
• Ensuring the availability of materials, equipment and resources required for production
• Managing attendance, performance and employee development
• Supporting training and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining high standards of quality, health & safety and operational compliance
• Producing operational updates and reporting progress to senior management
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure production objectives are achieved

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Senior Production Supervisor experience
• Experience leading teams within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong production planning and resource management experience
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to drive performance whilst maintaining quality and safety standards
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A proactive, hands-on management style
• Experience supporting employee development and continuous improvement initiatives
