Zimmer Biomet seeks an EHS Manager to lead environmental health and safety compliance across UK and Ireland commercial and distribution sites. The role involves developing and managing the EHS system, conducting risk assessments, overseeing training programs, and ensuring adherence to local legislation and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead EHS compliance and advisory support across five UK and Ireland sites
- Develop and maintain the EHS Management System; chair site committees and attend monthly regional meetings
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and review contractor safety documentation and methods
- Deliver EHS training programs including inductions, refresher courses, and fire safety arrangements
- Coordinate EHS reporting, KPI metrics, and environmental submissions including energy and carbon compliance
Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification (IOSH, NVQ)
- Relevant EHS experience in a highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with QMS and KPI reporting systems
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 50001 standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
