Masstemps are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Operator on behalf of a busy client near the Birmingham area.
Responsibilities include:
. Must be able to set up and operate CNC press brakes.
. Manufacture components to engineering drawings and production specifications.
. Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
. Perform tool and punch/die changes to suit production requirements.
. Select the correct tooling and machine settings for a range of materials and thicknesses.
. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
. Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records. About You - Proven experience setting and operating CNC press brakes.
- Experience carrying out tool, punch, and die changes for a variety of jobs.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and bending processes.
- Experience producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Competent in using measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, height gauges, and angle gauges.
- Experience selecting appropriate tooling and machine parameters for different materials and thicknesses.
- Good understanding of CNC press brake machine setup.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritise workload effectively. Hours Monday to Friday 14:00pm - 22:00pm Pay Rate £15.00ph (increases upon obtaining a contract with the company) Job Benefits & Other Information * Free Parking
