Cleaning Operative

Job description

To clean designated areas ensuring a high degree of cleanliness and presentation is achieved. To correctly use cleaning supplies and equipment

Responsibilities

• To maintain a clean and tidy working environment. To maintain a safe working environment when working.
• To carry out special cleaning when required. To dispose of refuse in a safe manner as necessary and at the end of each shift.
• To replenish soap and towels. To assist with department stock takes.
• To ensure that all equipment is stored correctly and is in good working order. To report any equipment defects promptly.
• To ensure lost property is recorded accurately and promptly. To ensure that all deadlines for completion of work are met.
• To ensure that any client queries are dealt with effectively and quickly ensuring client satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience desirable if not full training will be provided.
• Access NI security clearance will be provided (see further information below).
