Third in Charge - Oxford
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Part-Time Potentially Considered)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £34,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
Location: Oxfordshire About the Role: An exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to join the senior management team as Third in Charge. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery while maintaining high standards of care and education. What We're Looking For: Essential: Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare (UK recognised)
Proven experience in a senior practitioner or leadership role
Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) Key Responsibilities: Support the Manager and Deputy in leading the nursery
Oversee daily operations and ensure quality standards
Lead and mentor nursery practitioners
Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements
Support staff training and development
Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
Build positive partnerships with parents and families
