Team Leader - Estates

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar

This job is workstyle 5 – Hybrid+.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

Angus Council are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic property professional to lead our Estates Team within the Assets Service. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the management of a diverse property portfolio that supports the delivery of vital public services and contributes to the Council's strategic objectives.

As Team Leader, you will provide professional leadership to the team, driving innovative solutions, delivering value from the Council's estate and helping shape future investment decisions. You'll work closely with senior colleagues and external partners, influencing key decisions that benefit our communities.

We are seeking a motivated leader with strong professional expertise, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering results. You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative service with a strong focus on professional development, flexible working and continuous improvement.

The Individual

You will bring relevant estates or property management experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality services. We are looking for someone who meets the requirements set out in the Job Outline and Person Spec with a positive and proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve successful outcomes.
