About the Role Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEND school. This role involves planning and delivering personalised lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with additional learning needs, while creating a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will be adaptable, patient and confident in using a range of teaching strategies to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. They will work closely with support staff, families and external professionals to help every pupil reach their full potential. Role Responsibilities * Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons for pupils across Years 4-6, tailored to meet individual learning needs.
* Creating a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment that supports pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
* Differentiating learning activities to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum and make progress.
* Assessing, recording and reporting on pupil progress, providing feedback to support continued development.
* Managing classroom behaviour using positive behaviour strategies in line with the school's policies.
* Preparing high-quality learning resources and maintaining an organised and stimulating classroom environment.
* Building positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues to promote pupil wellbeing and achievement.
* Attending staff meetings, training and other professional development opportunities as required.
* Completing planning, preparation and marking in line with school expectations. About the School This specialist SEND school has built a strong reputation for providing a supportive and inclusive environment for both pupils and staff. The school is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher with experience delivering the primary curriculum, ideally across Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 4-6). Person Specification To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate : * Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) proven by providing your Teacher Reference Number
* Experience of working as a teacher in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms since obtaining QTS.
* Full enhanced DBS certificate
* Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process
* The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teacher.
* A minimum of 2 school-based references Desired But Not Essential Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND or adapting lessons to meet a range of additional learning needs, would be highly advantageous.
