Berry Recruitment are looking for a Programme Support Administrator to work for a local authority within the housing operations department based in Nursling.
This role is to start ASAP on a 3 month contract with possible extension. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.15 and Friday 07.30 to 15.15.
The hourly pay rate is £14.92.
The purpose of this role is working within the planned maintenance team to support the repairs and voids contracts and allocating work to trade staff.
Key Duties:
- Assisting the programme managers
- Deal with public and internal contact via telephone and email
- Liaise with trade persons, managers and contractors
- Allocate work to appropriate trade persons
- Collation and management of void paperwork and job completions
- Ordering scaffolding and asbestos removal works
- Meeting strict timescales
- Updating spreadsheets/databases and maintaining filing systems
- Arrange meetings and appointments
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working in housing maintenance, construction or planning background is preferred
- Administration experience is essential
- Professional telephone manner
- Computer literate
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales
