Locum (Associate Dentist)

We are seeking experienced dentists for a *Long-Term Locum* role at an *urgent care centre* in Woolston, Southampton.

• This position focuses on *emergency and stabilisation services*, handling pain relief and urgent cases rather than comprehensive treatments.
• You will typically see *35–45 patients daily* from NHS 111 referrals, walk-ins, and stabilisation cases, in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is essential.
• The role requires efficient clinicians capable of making quick, sound decisions while maintaining quality care.
• Performance is managed through daily UDA targets with overachievement paid at £/UDA; no penalties for underperformance.
• Applicants must be GDC registered with NHS performer number, have urgent care experience (desirable), and up-to-date indemnity and immunisations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-throughput setting are essential.
• Flexible shifts are available from Monday to Sunday, with immediate start, and arrangements for travel expenses are negotiable.
• The practice is a dedicated NHS urgent care centre with a supportive team, located near transport links in Southampton.
