Multi-Skilled Maintenance Manager 6796

45 hours per week (flexibility to work shifts as required to meet business demands)
Salary:
£60,000 – £65,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Manager
- Lead and manage the Maintenance Team to ensure the smooth running of all production and site equipment.
- Plan, organise, and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex machinery faults to minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to support operational goals.
- Manage contractors and external service providers as required.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards in line with company policies.
Key Skills of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Manager
- Proven experience in multi-skilled maintenance, ideally within an FMCG or fast-moving production environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating workloads.
- Ability to work flexibly, including shift coverage as business needs require.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations relevant to a manufacturing environment.
