We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive forward our capabilities to improve the customer experience across Confused.com . You will shape and define the product strategy for your area, using the latest technologies and product tools to identify, shape and deliver innovative data-driven experiences that our new and returning customers love, want to share and repeat.

You’ll work closely with a team of engineers, analysts and designers, as well as others across the business to identify and deliver on opportunities to deepen customer relationships, increasing engagement, conversion, product holding, loyalty and customer lifetime value.

You'll work within our wider one-platform, multi-channel strategy, ensuring your product area's journey is joined up across Web, Mobile App and CRM.

What you'll be doing

• Defining, owning, and driving the strategy for an insurance comparison product (e.g. Car, Home, Travel, Life, Pet, Bike).
• Responsible for ensuring good customer outcomes are achieved in line with industry regulations across the end-to-end journey.
• Leading discovery and supporting delivery to improve user experiences, constructively challenging assumptions to ensure we focus on the most valuable opportunities.
• Identifying opportunities to grow the product through differentiated and tailored experiences.
• Coordinating with platform teams to achieve the outcomes needed for your product area.

• Using data and customer insights to identify and realise opportunities for your product area, defining appropriate measures and articulating performance
• Championing customers needs, balancing customer outcomes with business goals for your product area
• Collaborating with colleagues across engineering, design, marketing and commercial, to implement the product roadmap.
• Supporting the management of external service providers to deliver the required outcomes
• Proactively identifying and addressing risks, escalating where necessary to keep delivery on track

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years Product Management experience.
• Experience of running discovery within a team of Product, Engineering, Design and Analytics.
• A bias to action and ability to ‘get stuff done’, making every day count (Urgency)
• Commercially astute with a strong critical thinking and the ability to find insights others haven’t
• Resilience and adaptability - comfortable with ambiguity, and confident navigating complex challenges
• Good understanding of human-centred design principles and how they apply to digital customer experiences
• Good communication skills, able to adapt style for different audiences and build buy-in within your team
