Applications are invited from suitably qualified Biomedical Scientists for a Point of Care Testing Technical Lead - The Point of Care Testing (POCT) Lead is responsible for the operational management, governance, and strategic development of the POCT service across NHS Golden Jubilee.

The post holder will ensure that POCT services are safe, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements, including ISO 15189 / ISO 22870, MHRA guidance, and local clinical governance frameworks. The role will provide expert leadership to support clinical services delivering near-patient testing, ensuring quality assurance, staff competency, and robust connectivity with laboratory systems.
