Our clients, a lovely family living in Primrose Hill are currently looking for a Governess/Nanny for their 3 boys – 9 year old twins and a 6 year old.
The couple are ideally seeking a Weekend Governess/Nanny to work Saturday and Sunday, and can be flexible on hours. Alternatively, they would consider employing someone full-time, working Monday to Friday, as they are happy to explore all options at this stage.
The boys are very active and participate in various extracurricular activities. The twins will be preparing to take the 11+ and undergoing entrance interviews, so the Governess/Nanny would need to be confident enough to support the 2 boys through this.
Duties will also include the following, but are not limited to;
- Creating a fun environment to aid development
- Supporting the growth of active, polite, and healthy children
- Helping with homework and exam prep
- Supervising music practise – the boys do have music tutors, so the right candidate doesn’t necessarily have to be musical
- Organising/accompanying the children to playdates and activities
- Preparing the children for the week ahead
Please note that the following would be beneficial but not essential to apply for the position;
- Prior teaching experience
- Knowledge of the French language as the children are taught it at school
- A driver – free permit parking at the weekends
- Pet friendly - family have a small puppy
