The role

As an Employment Associate in Dundee , you'll advise clients on the full spectrum of employment law matters while building long-term relationships across a diverse client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract disputes
• Supporting clients through Employment Tribunal proceedings
• Providing day-to-day advice on disciplinary, grievance and absence management issues
• Assisting with redundancies, restructures and workforce change projects
• Advising on TUPE matters and employment aspects of corporate transactions
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, service agreements and workplace policies
• Delivering training sessions and legal updates to clients
• Working closely with colleagues across other practice areas to provide joined-up advice
• Participating in networking and business development activities

About you

This role would suit an Employment Solicitor who:

• Has experience in employment law, ideally at Associate level
• Has handled both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Has experience of Employment Tribunal work
• Demonstrates excellent drafting and communication skills
• Takes a commercial and pragmatic approach to client advice
• Enjoys developing client relationships and growing their professional network
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Is organised and capable of managing a varied workload
