1-1 Teaching Assistant supporting a child with ASD in a school in Liverpool City Centre!

Description

We are currently looking for an experienced TA who has previous experience working with SEN to work in a Primary School in Liverpool City Centre!

This will be supporting a child in Reception class who has ASD and struggles to stay in the classroom.

Pay: £13.80 per hour, plus holiday pay.

Location: Liverpool City Centre

Start: September 2025

Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday!

Responsibilities:

• Providing 1-1 SEN Support
• Work with young children who have difficulty with communication and social interaction
• Ensuring children are engaged
• Adapting to every individual pupil’s needs
• Helping with behaviour management of children
• Be a key component in a child’s early development

Profile:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Friendly, empathetic and motivating
• Strong regard for pupil safety-and well being
• Motivating with ability to engage pupils
• Good ability to manage behaviour
