Leadership Assistant

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Thurrock to assist with the appointment of a Leadership Assistant, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay : £111.18 - £146.53 per day

Summary:

The Leadership Assistant will provide professional, proactive, and high-quality executive support to the Assistant Director(s), ensuring the effective delivery of business support, diary management, secretariat services, and directorate projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive and responsive executive support to the Assistant Director(s), enabling the effective delivery of their responsibilities.
• Act as the first point of contact for complex enquiries, responding on behalf of the Assistant Director(s) where appropriate.
• Manage complex diaries, schedule meetings, and proactively plan workloads to ensure the Assistant Director(s) are fully prepared.
• Arrange meeting briefings, agendas, and supporting documentation.
• Deliver high-quality secretariat support, including preparing agendas, taking accurate minutes, maintaining decision and action logs, and monitoring follow-up actions.
• Support the Executive Assistant by deputising during periods of absence.

Qualification:

• A relevant business administration qualification

Essentials :

• Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Leadership Support, or senior administrative role.
• Proven experience supporting senior leaders or directors in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Excellent diary management, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
  
  
• Strong minute-taking and secretariat experience, with the ability to produce accurate records and monitor actions.
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
