Job Summary
As a GP with Affinity Care, you will be acting within your professional boundaries to support our communities. You will provide care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment/diagnostic skills, for patients within GP. You will work collaboratively with the Practice team to meet patient needs, whilst supporting the delivery of policy and procedures. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting with an undifferentiated diagnosis, both physiologically and psychologically. Sometimes you will be working with chronic conditions, sometimes acute, but at all times you will be providing the highest standard of patient care, with a supportive team around you, driving the best possible outcome. Main duties of the job
You will be a fully qualified and registered GP, having maintained your position on a performer's list, a member of a recognised defence union (MPS/MDU) with a vocational training certificate or equivalent. You will work with our patients to drive the best outcome, encouraging healthy lifestyles and positive self-care in line with evidence-based practice, national/practice protocols, and within the scope of practice. You will abide by professional standards as regulated by the GMC and relevant legislation, NSF and NICE guidelines, and any other relevant bodies. You will contribute to team discussions and constructively challenge, helping develop cohesive practice teams, sharing best practice and innovation. Undertake learning and communicate with us about your needs and clinical interests; we want to build your capability and develop your passions. Adhere to infection control SOPs, respect patients' and colleagues' innate dignity, and safeguard the vulnerable. About us
Affinity Care is a forward-thinking group of practices covering the breadth of Bradford. We work with our community, for all of our patients. We are taking the lead with how we organise our service provision not just how we provide the care our communities want and need, but also how we grow as an organisation. Details
