Head of Product Management Advisory

Edinburgh onsite 2 days per week

£800 - £1050 per day via umbrella

Initial contract to December with extension expected

Our financial services client is seeking Head of Product Management Advisory to embed stronger product behaviours, customer-centricity and modern product methods that support Product Excellence as part of a product operating model transformation.

The role requires 2 days per week onsite in Edinburgh and therefore locally based candidates would be preferred.

The contract needs to be facilitated via an umbrella company and has a rate banding of £800 - £1050 per day.

Key skills & experience required

• This role leads the Product Advisory function and sets the standard for product management maturity across the organisation
• Deep product leadership experience, with a strong track record of building great products and helping organisations do the same.
• Experience working within and advising organisations at different stages of maturity, including both large enterprises and high-growth companies.
• Strong background in digital strategy, product operating models, product discovery and customer-led product development.
• Experience coaching senior product leaders, executives and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, regulated environments where customer outcomes, quality and control must all be balanced.
• Exceptional coaching and facilitation skills
• Experience coaching & influencing all levels of product management and C-suite
