About the Role

As Teacher of Art & Design , you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 , with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and the school’s curriculum offer.

You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

• Strong drawing and observational skills alongside creative experimentation

• Knowledge of artists, movements and contextual understanding

• Confidence with a range of media (e.g., painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, digital where applicable)

• Independent thinking through purposeful sketchbook work, annotation and evaluation

• GCSE success through clear modelling, structured practice and targeted feedback

Lessons are designed to build skill over time while encouraging pupils to take creative risks and develop personal responses.
