The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support across the school office

• Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries in a professional manner

• Maintain accurate records using school systems (e.g. SIMS or equivalent)

• Support key administrative functions such as attendance, admissions, and data management

• Assist with organising meetings, events, and internal communications

• Handle post, deliveries, filing, and document control

• Support safeguarding procedures, including visitor management and record keeping

• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure efficient operations

• Provide administrative support to senior leaders and departments

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has previous experience in an administrative role (school experience desirable)

• Demonstrates strong organisational and time management skills

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Is confident using IT systems such as Microsoft Office and databases (e.g. SIMS)

• Can prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload effectively

• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times

• Works well both independently and as part of a team
