Benefits and USPs
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK's largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment. Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the 'Care in the Community' agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives. Since then, we've remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland. We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships. Who you'll be supporting and more about the role
11 people live at The Shore who all have individual flats with different levels of abilities and needs. What is important to us is that we all receive our one-to-one hours to access our interests in the community. We also need happy, cheerful, approachable and fun-loving people who are person-centred to help us achieve our best lives possible. We are all responsible for maintaining a good level of cleanliness and we need staff to support us with this to ensure we feel safe within our homes. We receive staff support with the service 24 hours per day to ensure this. We may need you to support us to report any concerns or repairs to the housing provider. About you
We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone who would be perfect for the role will have professional experience. This is why we're passionate about recruiting to individuals' values and we recruit people from all walks of life, from people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, to people with lived experience who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all. It is important too that you share our company values: We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure we deliver high-quality, consistent care and support. We look for people with:
