Derivatives Legal Talent

We are currently seeking Derivatives Legal Talent  to support Axiom clients on a range of derivatives, trading documentation, structured products, and financial markets matters, with a particular focus on ISDA documentation, OTC derivatives, regulatory requirements, and counterparty negotiation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal and documentation support on derivatives and financial markets matters, including OTC derivatives, structured products, trading arrangements, hedging transactions, and collateralised trading relationships.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on ISDA documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Credit Support Annexes, Credit Support Deeds, confirmations, netting arrangements, collateral terms, and related trading documentation.
• Support negotiations with banks, asset managers, hedge funds, corporates, financial institutions, counterparties, and internal stakeholders on derivatives documentation, risk allocation, close-out netting, collateral, margin, and regulatory provisions.
• Partner with legal, trading, credit, risk, compliance, operations, treasury, front office, external counsel, and negotiation teams to support transaction execution, documentation remediation, regulatory change, and risk mitigation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer, derivatives documentation specialist, or experienced ISDA negotiator with strong derivatives, financial markets, trading documentation, or structured products experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, or advising on ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, CSAs, CSDs, confirmations, collateral documentation, netting provisions, or related derivatives documentation.
• Experience supporting banks, asset managers, hedge funds, corporates, financial institutions, trading desks, treasury teams, or other market participants on OTC derivatives or financial markets documentation.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, stakeholder management, commercial judgment, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused support in fast-paced financial markets environments.
