About This Role

We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide support for a gentleman in his 30s living independently within his family home.

Building a positive relationship with him is an important part of the role, and his care team will be encouraged to engage with him in conversations and activities that he enjoys.

He has a close relationship with his family and enjoys spending time with them. He also enjoys watching films on Netflix, using his laptop, and has a keen interest in astronomy. He likes to remain active within his local community and enjoys going out for meals, visiting museums, attending music concerts, and attending festivals during the summer.

During the day, you will support him with his personal care, attend to his clinical care needs, and assist with his mobility, while helping him access the community and take part in activities that are meaningful to him.

Throughout the night, you will provide dedicated person-centred care, monitor his clinical needs, and ensure his safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
