Assoc Director, Procurement - Transportation and Logistics

Responsibilities
- Lead transportation sourcing events and competitive bidding processes with cross-functional teams
- Develop category strategies to achieve cost savings and improve quality and service levels
- Partner with senior leadership to establish performance metrics and supplier objectives aligned with business needs
- Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement through periodic performance reviews
- Monitor and report on procurement KPIs and ensure service level agreement compliance
Requirements
- 7+ years professional experience or 5+ years with advanced degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field
- Proven logistics procurement, category management, or supply chain leadership experience
- Strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and strong negotiation skills
- Advanced proficiency with procurement systems, spend analysis, and ERP platforms
- Experience leading cross-functional projects in matrixed organizations
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry standards, and supplier relationship management
- Demonstrated awareness of sustainability, ESG, and diversity/inclusion principles
