Summary
An Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance apprentice with Froneri will be involved in planned and unplanned maintenance activities across the entire manufacturing site. This will involve learning all elements of maintenance within a very busy ice cream production plant.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
To complete a programme of training to be conducted within the factory’s Engineering team
- To become proficient in the application and use of a wide range of engineering tasks both mechanical and electrical.
- Carrying out such tasks and duties as directed by the engineering team that require the levels of performance and competence of an engineer
- Attend a weekly progress meeting to summarise skills developed and attained through the course of the week.
- Clean as you go policy. Maintain your tools in a clean & tidy state.
- Develop sound fault finding skills both mechanical & electrical.
- Follow site H&S policy and regulations, if in doubt ask!
- Gaining familiarity with machines, lines, services etc.
- Contribute practically on the reactive and proactive maintenance.
- Contribute practically on the ongoing projects if required.
