Data Acquisition Expert - EDC (Homebased UK/South Africa)
IQVIA seeks an EDC Data Acquisition Expert to design and implement electronic data capture systems for clinical trials. The role involves building eCRF packages, programming edit checks, configuring databases, and leading technical implementations across global study teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess protocol requirements and create eCRF packages using global libraries
- Design eCRF layouts with form dynamics and program edit checks
- Create technical specifications for tSDV, Safety Gateway, and Datamart mapping
- Oversee IWRS integration planning and implementation to EDC systems
- Provide subject matter expertise and training on EDC builds and migrations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience building EDC databases in clinical research
- Technical expertise in Medidata Rave for complex database builds
- Advanced custom functions programming knowledge
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and CDASH
- Experience in clinical trials and cross-functional global teams
