Salary: £13.28- £13.47 per hour

Hours: 6.40 Hours per week (Term Time Only)

Location: Norton, North Yorkshire- Mill Street

The Role

Duty times : : 8.10am -8.55am and 15.15 - 15.50(6.40 hours per week) Monday- Friday   

Our school crossing patrols provide a valuable service to the local community by ensuring that children and adults can cross the road safely on their route to and from school.

Your duties will include:

• Ensure safe road crossing for children and pedestrians during patrol times
• Stop traffic using the official ‘STOP’ sign
• Conduct pre-duty health and safety checks of the crossing site
• Report any hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns to the Patrol Officer
• Wear and maintain approved uniform and equipment
