GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Nursery Teacher to join a primary school in Harlow on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately.
The school is looking for a qualified teacher who has experience working within Nursery or EYFS and is confident planning and delivering learning for young children.
About the Role
As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting children's learning and development within the Nursery setting. The role will include: * Planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities
* Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS framework
* Creating a safe, engaging and well-organised learning environment
* Supporting learning through a mixture of adult-led activities and child-initiated play
* Observing and assessing children's progress
* Supporting children's communication, language, social and emotional development
* Working with other members of the Early Years team
* Maintaining a positive and consistent approach to behaviour and routines
* Communicating effectively with colleagues and, where appropriate, parents/carers
* Ensuring safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed About You
The school is looking for a qualified teacher with QTS who has experience working with children in an Early Years or Nursery setting. You should: * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching or working within Nursery/EYFS
* Have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
* Be confident planning and delivering activities independently
* Have good classroom and behaviour management skills
* Be able to build positive relationships with young children
* Work well as part of a team
