- Deliver Tailored Support: Provide responsive, person-centred assistance to individuals with complex needs, helping them achieve positive outcomes and independence.

- Promote Participation: Encourage individuals to engage in social, educational and employment opportunities, preventing isolation and promoting self-determination.
- Manage Risks Effectively: Conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain professional boundaries, ensuring health, safety and compliance with safeguarding policies.

This role is being offered on a full time , permanent basis working 37hours per week. You will be working 5 days per week, on a rolling 4 week rota, Monday to Sunday between 8am and 9pm, to include bank holidays and weekends. This role will be based at our New Start service, based in Truro . Please note, this role will involve lone working.

About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of Support Worker, you will have the essential skills and experience for a Level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:
- Have an understanding of support needs and support planning.
- Have experience of risk assessing and risk management.
- Be a great communicator with the ability to build rapport.
- Have accurate record keeping and computer skills.
- Confident in lone working and be a good team player.
- Have a flexible working approach to work.
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Be resilient and adaptable.
- Have an open, friendly personality and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
Please note: This role is not eligible for a Cos. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the role without a CoS.
