Maintenance Engineer
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Telford. This role involves maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.
Location: Telford
Salary: £48,200
Shift: Rotating 12 Hours The Role * Respond to mechanical breakdowns and complete repairs.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
* Fault-find and identify the root cause of equipment issues.
* Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
* Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
* Assist with spare parts management and maintenance records.
* Mentor apprentices or junior engineers where appropriate. What We're Looking For * HNC or NVQ Level 4 in an engineering discipline.
* Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
* Electrical knowledge or qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. current or recent experience as multiskilled maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, shift engineer, production engineer, service engineer, ppm engineer, reliability engineer What's on Offer * Competitive salary over £48K
