About The Role
The Deputy Manager will be responsible for supporting the service manager to set the culture of the service. Leading and inspiring the teams to ensure that everyone within it lives and breathes our company ethos.

The Role Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- You will be proactive and support the development and skills of Support Workers. This will include recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management.
- Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is delivered at all times.
- Ensure that all the people we support have person-centred support/care plans. You will be able to create and update these plans as per any changes that are required.
- To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records. Working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.

About The Service
Park Lodge - Swanton Care, is one of our popular 8-bedroom residential homes. We deliver bespoke tailored packages of care to people diagnosed with various complexities, autism, learning difficulties, and epilepsy. We offer high quality training in autism awareness, epilepsy, medication, and person-centred training for those who require it. This includes bespoke communication training such as Makaton and health promotion.
