The Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Electrical Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning phase of a major Data Center project in Frankfurt. This role places you at the forefront of bringing complex electrical systems to life—ensuring they are fully tested, compliant, and ready for operational handover.
Acting as the key interface between installation teams, project management, and stakeholders, you will drive the transition from construction to fully functional systems. Your work will directly influence project readiness, performance, and long-term reliability.

Your Impact
You will take ownership of the end-to-end commissioning process across all electrical systems, ensuring installations are tested, validated, and delivered in line with contractual, safety, and performance standards.
Working closely with project leadership and coordination teams, you will combine technical expertise with strong planning and organisational skills to ensure a seamless and structured commissioning phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all electrical commissioning activities on site, from pre-commissioning through to final handover
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules aligned with project milestones
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure systems are prepared, energised, and ready for testing
• Oversee and execute functional testing, inspection, and validation of high- and low-voltage systems
• Manage and review commissioning documentation , including test reports, checklists, and handover packs
• Attend and contribute to project and commissioning meetings , ensuring clear communication across stakeholders
• Track progress, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and defects
• Coordinate subcontractors and specialist vendors during commissioning activities
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
• Support the final handover process , ensuring systems meet client expectations and operational requirements

What You Bring

• Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering (e.g. HTL, FH, Master Craftsman, or equivalent apprenticeship)
• 5+ years’ experience in electrical commissioning roles on large-scale or complex projects
• Strong technical expertise in high- and low-voltage systems , testing, and validation processes
• Proven experience managing commissioning programmes and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work within international project environments and collaborate cross-functionally
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region (short assignments up to two weeks)
• Full Category B driving licence
• Fluent in German and English
