* Safeguarding: Conduct safeguarding and risk assessments to ensure the safety of fostering households.
* Multi‑Agency Collaboration: Work effectively with children's social workers, fostering teams, and external professionals.

* Compliance: Ensure all practice aligns with current legislation, policies, and procedures. Qualifications / Requirements Essential * Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England .
* Proven experience within fostering services or children's social care.
* Strong experience completing fostering assessments and writing high-quality reports.
* In-depth understanding of fostering legislation, safeguarding, and child protection procedures.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage workload effectively within statutory timescales. Desirable * Experience presenting cases at fostering panels.
* Knowledge of connected persons and kinship assessments.
* Experience within a local authority fostering service.
