The apprentice will work alongside experienced Mechanical Engineers to learn the following:

• House to use Lathes, turn and mill
• How to read tolerances
• Fit bearings ad make shafts 
• Learn how to fix diverter wheels and well make new ones from castings from scratch

This apprenticeship is delivered as a day release at our Institute of Technology based in Canning Town, E14.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

• English (grade 4)
• Maths (grade 4)
