Senior Engineer

We’re recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering major civils schemes in Edinburgh . They re looking for an experienced Senior engineer/Sub Agent to support the site team on a long-term freelance basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily site operations and supervise engineers and subcontractors
Ensure work is delivered to programme, safety, and quality standards
Maintain site documentation, RAMS, and progress reports
Work closely with the Agent and Project Manager to deliver key packages
Coordinate with client representatives and internal teams
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Section Engineer on highways or civils projects
Knowledge of earthworks , 278 works or General civils
SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or above), and First Aid certification
Strong communication and leadership skills
HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Project Overview:
Major highways improvement scheme in central Scotland
Work includes rc structures , link roads, and drainage
Opportunity to join an experienced project team on a high-profile infrastructure project
