We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major marine / reinforced concrete structures project. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a high-profile marine infrastructure scheme, working within a technically challenging construction environment. The Role As Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical engineering leadership across the project, ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required technical and quality standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Management, subcontractors and design teams to ensure works are delivered in line with programme, specifications and client requirements. Senior Engineer Responsibilities * Leading and overseeing all site engineering activities across marine and reinforced concrete structures works. * Managing the day-to-day engineering delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately and to programme. * Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation, identifying and resolving engineering issues as they arise. * Producing and reviewing QA documentation, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspection records and handover documentation. * Maintaining accurate site records, as-built information, surveys and engineering documentation. Senior Engineer Requirements * Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Site Engineer on major civil engineering, marine or reinforced concrete structures projects. * Strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete, foundations, marine structures, formwork, reinforcement and associated civil engineering works. * Excellent understanding of construction methodology, quality assurance and health & safety requirements. * Valid CSCS Card (essential) * Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
