Premises Manager - Secondary School in Poole - ASAP Start!
A well-regarded secondary school in Poole is seeking an experienced and proactive Premises Manager to join the school as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for the safe, secure, and efficient running of a busy school site within a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Overseeing the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of the school site
Carrying out regular health & safety checks, including fire alarms and emergency lighting
Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and maintaining accurate records
Managing contractors and supervising site-related works
Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance schedules
Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours site requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience as a Premises Manager, Site Manager, or Caretaker
Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
Practical maintenance and DIY skills
The ability to prioritise workload and respond effectively to issues
Strong organisational and communication skills
A professional, reliable, and proactive approach
