The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a brand new, well-paid contract in Derby with a major logistics company.
If you're after clean trunking work, no handball, and reliable day shifts, this is a fantastic opportunity to get on board from the start. Temto perm opportinities are available.
Pay & Benefits
- £14.01 per hour (Days 6am-6pm)
- £17.51 per hour (Nights 6pm-6am)
- Overtime after 39 hrs: £21.02 - £28.02
- Sundays: Up to £35.03 per hour
- Paid breaks
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed
- Ongoing, secure work
Shift Pattern
Flexible working patterns available:
- 4 on / 4 off
- 5 on / 3 off
- Typical start time: Between 04:00-15:00 Stable, consistent day work
The Role
- Trunking between RDCs (Amesbury / Treforest)
- No handball - curtain-sider work only
- Modern vehicles & straightforward routes
- Daily responsibilities include:
- Vehicle checks
- Load security checks
- Paperwork & debrief
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC & Digi Tacho Card
- Minimum 12 months experience
