Join us as a Pressman and become a key part of a busy production team.

We’re recruiting Pressman operators to support a fast‑paced manufacturing environment on a temp to perm contract. This Pressman role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, teamwork, and keeping production running smoothly.

No two days are the same, and full training is provided. PPE is provided on site, and access to facilities including lockers, break rooms, canteen/vending, smoking area, parking and washrooms.

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: 05:45–18:00 (Mon–Thurs)
• Week 2: 17:45–06:00 (Mon–Thurs)
• 49 basic hours per week

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour
• Paid weekly

Duties:

As a Pressman , your day‑to‑day tasks will include:

• Raw material control — receiving, storing and recording stock
• Sizing and distribution of materials
• Reporting any deviations in quality or sizing
• Blending raw materials into semi‑finished goods
• Keeping mixing and usage records up to date
• Preparing materials to a high standard for pressing
• Producing items to customer specification and quality standards
• Maintaining accurate production records
• Removing out‑of‑spec inserts before heat treatment
• Ensuring all materials are correctly labelled
• Maintaining housekeeping and 5S standards
• Monitoring scrap levels
• Completing safety walks, audits and job observations
• Reporting accidents, incidents or near misses within 24 hours
• Assisting with packing and QA when required
